The Meaning Behind 12/13
I didn’t want to always remember the date December 13, 2018 as being the day my mother transitioned, so I asked the Lord how I could honor her legacy. He led me to create an IG page called Tee Finally Sings, and the following year He instructed me to launch a Virtual Book Tour. What I understood to be one round of three days extended into a full year. Now, seven years from her transition, He has led me to launch The Shatiana Walton Brand. What once marked grief has now become a testimony of obedience, legacy, and new beginnings.
The Reason Behind the Build
It’s simple—God has been too good to me. People often tell me there’s something different about me, and I know it’s only because of the Lord who is on my side. Jehovah Jireh is my Provider, Jehovah Rapha is my Healer, and Jehovah Nissi is my banner of victory. Everything I am is because of Him, and I will share His goodness everywhere I go. The fruit you see in my life isn’t a façade; it’s who He is in me—daily.

I am someone who has learned to walk with God in the everyday — in the unseen moments, the surrendered places, and the quiet obedience that shapes a life over time. What you encounter here is not something I put on; it’s what has been formed in me through grace, healing, and faithfulness.
My life is a testimony in motion — not because it has been perfect, but because God has been present. I live from a place of gratitude, trusting that who He is in me will always speak louder than anything I could say.
